This
is a picture of the high school I attended. I went to a private high school in
Madison Wisconsin. I think this part of my education has really shaped who I am
today. Edgewood focuses mainly on education but also on the Dominican values of
Truth, Compassion, Justice Partnership and Community. The community aspect of
this has affected me the most. Since it is a smaller high school I really got
to know many of my peers very well and made it easier in a classroom setting. I
also loved the focus on community service because it has made me love to giving
back and doing different community service projects anywhere.
Family
This
is a picture of my family. Both of my sisters are older. One has already
graduated college and is a nurse in Milwaukee and the other is graduation from
college just this year. Both my sisters have shaped who I am today and I look
up to both of them for different reasons. My parents have also had a major
affect on who I am. They have always supported me with any decisions I make. My
mom has especially always been there for me even as a friend. I know that no
matter what my whole entire family will always be there to support me as I will
be there for them as well.
Entertainment
This is a picture from my trip to China my senior year. I
went with a group of fifteen students from my school. Traveling is my form of
entertainment that has affected who I am. My family and I always took family
vacations when I was younger and this started my love of traveling. What I love
most about traveling is that each place you go there is both similarities and
also differences from where you are from. I hope that for at least a semester
in college I will be able to study abroad. The place I would love to study is
Australia just because it’s been somewhere I have always wanted to go.
